Laney and Aviva met at work, they’re both nurses at Duke here in Durham, and just last month they were married by Aviva’s father.  Her father told the stories of their love from what they told him separately during the ceremony.  About how Laney loved how caring, and thoughtful, and intensely kind Aviva is.  And about how Aviva couldn’t make their first date because she had plans already, but countered with going out on New Years night.  And finally, how both Aviva and Laney knew, almost instantly, that they had found their match.

I loved photographing this ceremony for Laney and Aviva.  Their families, friends, and even the staff at the Millennium was thrilled to be there.  It was a tremendously happy event, and editing this images put a huge smile on my face.
